This week we were focusing on creative writing. I chose a picture called lost and found from Pobble to write my story. I hope you enjoy my writing.

Once upon a time there was a family called White.
The dad’s name was Jack, the mum's name was Britney and the daughter’s name was Sidney One winter’s night it was very cold and they were roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. Then they ran out of marshmallows so they went to the store and got more marshmallows plus Graham crackers and chocolate so they could make Smores. On their way home from the shop they saw a toy-sized truck so they got out of their car picked it up and put it in their car.
In the morning they took the toy truck to the police station and
a policeman said, “Great! I just had a phone call from a lady with a very upset little son who has lost his favourite toy truck. You will make a little boy very happy today!”

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your creative writing on your blog. It is great that you have added the picture as well so I can see where you got your ideas from. I like how you have described the cold winters night and roasting marshmallows, I can definitely picture it in my head as I read your story. What a lovely family handing the small truck into the police and making a little boy happy. You describe smores really well, do you like to make them?
